Snow River Niagara Secco 2023
This white wine is made by fermenting "Niagara", a grape that has been eaten in Hokkaido for a long time, with the skins on.
Aiming to create a wine that can be enjoyed at the dinner table every day, we have used 100% Niagara, a table grape variety grown in Yoichi Town, Hokkaido, to create a delicious orange wine fermented with the skin on.
The color is lemon yellow with a slight beige tint.
The aroma is a balanced blend of Niagara's unique muscat and black tea from the brewing process, along with refreshing citrus fruits such as orange, kumquat, and grapefruit, as well as the scent of jasmine and mandarin orange flowers.
The taste is based on a pleasant citrus aroma, and is enveloped in the umami flavor derived from the peel and deep, refreshing acidity, while a subtle mineral astringency lingers in the mouth.
Good pairings include chicken breast stewed in lemon cream, Korean-style yellowtail tartare, fried chicken with orange escabeche, and grilled mackerel with yuzu pepper.
Please enjoy this dish when you want to enjoy a meal and conversation with close friends.
